Appearance:

Ona is a average girl with light skin, radish brown hair, and ocean blue eyes. She dresses in white shirt with sleeveless vest covers around, black legging pants and doll shoes as casual and working clothes. As proxy, she dresses the same, except she has white gloves to kill and clean, and wears a smiley theatre mask to hide her identity. Ona's weapon is a small pocket knife with multiple blades and functional tools, she uses this to break locks and defends herself at necessary. Her camera equipments are also her weapons as she modified their function as a trap when people invade her territory.

Personality:

Ona is known as a calm and delightful girl. She always show helpful to people around her, just to understand them. To her parents, she's obedient with no question over their strict education despite it tends to bother her over sudden changes since she wouldn't take the lies. She hates breaking a rule, especially her own rules in her place.

As Cross, she continues to wear her mask of a polite and delightful girl. Her photography hobby turns into a sadistic desire as she stalks people's beauty around her and take pictures of them. Her judgement is critical and sociopathic which she puts her victims in dire situation just to make them 'perfect'. Due to incident, her mood swing was caused by past trauma and OCD.

Background

Before birth and Early life

Ona is the only child of Charles Anderson and Scarlet Chance Taylor. Before her birth, she's unaware of her parents' past. Charles comes from dysfunctional family that threw him and his brother to their own path. Scarlet was the worse when she lived with the fact her ancestors got involved with devil worship. The family was shamed for carrying bad blood which brings them to the dark supernatural properties and must clean themselves. She despises the tradition and decided to run away from home. That's how Charles met Scarlet on his trip to England. They both fell in love and had many affairs before Scarlet's family tracked her down. Not only they disapproved their relationship, but was shocked when Scarlet was pregnant. She was locked away and had to make decision either giving up her baby or let it live till the cleaning ritual. Either options are harmful but the family keeps it for they're not taking risk of giving birth to a spawn. Charles, on the other hands, struggles to help Scarlet and her future child at all cost. By investigating, he met up a priest who was assigned by the family. He himself reveals the family once asked him to marry Scarlet and helped clean their future child despite their offer to rejuvenate his church in return was not affordable. So Charles bribed the priest with enough expense for the church in exchange for Scarlet's safety. When time comes, Scarlet gave birth to a single child in her home and the priest performed the false cleaning ritual not to harm the infant. Once it's done, what's left is to set up for Charles and Scarlet to get away with their newborn child.

After leaving England behind, Ona grew up healthy without knowing her dark past behind. Scarlet is married to a successful businessman in clothings and becomes his faithful assistants. She's also a strict mother who educated Ona's well-manner. Although Scarlet's aware of the family curse affects on her child, she made Ona believes to have skin condition which requires special water to rejuvenate her skin.

The curse

When Ona was 10, Scarlet was suffered from terrible illness in which she's suggested to stay home. Scarlet decided not to worry about her condition when she's at home for medication as well as educating Ona. Charles sent a doctor to help his wife but her sickness seems to get worse by the time Ona notices her mother's pale hand. Following years, Scarlet was diagnosed with brain cancel and must stay in bed. From then, Ona's taking responsible of the house chores, but she cannot hold her suspicious when she's not allowed to take care of her mother. Her study went up and down during her mother's condition. On the last day knowing her mother disease's incurable, Ona begged her mother to stay by her side, but Scarlet refused to let her skipping class. She died in bed without letting her daughter at least to say goodbye. Scarlet's death weighted heavily on the family in her funeral. The following week, Charles wasn't the same as he would come home very late. Ona once raised her voice at her father, at the same time, she wanted to comfort him not to lose hope. Charles was depressed, not because of Scarlet but his daughter's future was what he concerned. The next day, Ona woke up to find her parents' bedroom clean unusual. Having a hunch, Ona called to his office to hear another woman's voice. Charles was found collapsed on his desk cold overnight.

With both parents are passed away, Ona was left alone. Since she's too young to live independently and inherit her family's fortune, Ona needs a legal guardian despite her denial. Only one person showed up was Mike Anderson (Ona's uncle). Charles had a stained relationship with his brother after both were disowned by their parents and he departed in his own way. To Ona, he's the black sheep in the family since her father had a fight once. She despises him and both barely talk except when arguing. He has no control of her or the family's fortune, except for Charles's company due to relation. Ona is too young to inherit her parents' fortune so she cannot do anything besides resuming her study and taking several jobs to earn her savings till college. Though she's deeply depressed from the loss, she chooses to keep the feeling hidden and spend the rest of the childhood by herself. What cheers her up most is the collection of family photo in the father's study room. Eventually, she recalled how she loves to take pictures with the family and her hobby started to develop from there.

When she turned 15, Mike put his brother's business on the edge that he took some of the family's belongings to pay the debt without asking for Ona's permission. She was furious and escalated into a fight until the uncle accidentally pushed her downstairs. The neighbor heard the commotion and rescued her in time while Mike was charged in prison for domestic violence.  Ona was suffered from minor head injury. Since then, however, Ona constantly has nightmare about shadowy creature chasing her in the never ending woods. Even when she's discharged, the nightmare never goes away. She dropped off first year in Medical course and was suggested to seek therapy again but it didn't work. Since the doctor only presume it's a side effect from the trauma, Ona was given some pills to recover. Devastating over the failure, she's overdosed the pill and fell into coma.

After Mike got out of jail, his niece was found in very bad shape. When the uncle decided to have a 'friendly' conversation, Ona never wanted to welcome him but forced to give him a chance. Her awareness was true when he admitted had let her father's business goes bankrupt, given to another owner to run. Instead, he asked her for the family's fortune in excuse for her terrible condition. Held on to her grudge, Ona drugged the tea before her uncle can take advantage of her. With no excuse, Ona killed the man in blind rage before fallen unconscious. She was found by the neighbor the next day and taken to the hospital. Her uncle, however, was found with multiple stabs and left in his crashed car three days after. Not only Ona was in trauma, she also has a weird skin condition which her veins show visible darker tone. The police had no suspicious of Ona due to her condition. So the case closed in mystery, or that's what Ona makes them think...

Prior to Ona's second discharged, she cannot help it over a vague memory from the incident. Before the uncle had his last breath, he revealed that her parents are fraud for running away and keeping their secret behind their own daughter. He also wanted to kill her after he was asked by an anonymous person who shared that secret. To justify this, she returned home to search her family's remained belongings. It just happened when Ona discovered a secret basement hidden behind the stairs, she found some of her belongings when she was an infant. A letter was placed on her little crib to let Ona immediately read it. She was shock to find the truth about her mother's secret and her curse. The result was clear in her vein. Scarlet was aware of her illness as a punishment and her daughter is going to be tainted by the curse, so she asked Charles to make the hidden basement to keep Ona if she ever turns. The letter also includes the holy water and its ingredient to suppress the curse. Knowing her parents had planned another dark future for her, Ona felt a weight to stay alive as a normal person and her view became distorted.

Aftermath

Year passed, Ona took different program after the drop off and eventually graduated at Art and Performance. But it wasn't the end. She knows her house is no longer safe to say so she secretly moved on without letting her friends know. She was taken to a quiet town in Oregon, staying a small comfortable apartment. Not far from her flat, there was an abandoned 2-story building which used to be a bakery shop. With the inherited fortune, she opened a photo studio where she takes pictures of people. Ona hired only two trustful assistants to run her studio when she's absent. Though her popularity, her peers hardly know about her past and whereabout. Little do they know, Ona keeps her secret under the basement of her studio where she would kill any trespassers who know about her life and her curse.

Skills and Strengths:

• Fast and Flexible. She plays hockey.
  
• Cross is a stalker-type proxy. She has obesession for photography which she uses to stalk people although it is unknown how she got the angle on her photo. She also can analyse the detail within a photo, even the smallest detail. 
  
• In additional, she knows how to interact with people in get information needed when she works as normal person. She’s mostly capable of working in urban place. After collecting the document, her responsible is to give these to a secret person who would come to her studio in black cloaked suit in occasion.
  
• Whenever an intruder invades her place, she trapped them in the basement where she perfoms her killing methods before taking pictures of them. Her methods was inspired by old Victorian photography when people took picture with their deceased one.
  

Weaknesses:

• She's physically weak, only dodges and defends.
  
• Sudden light will blind her, even worse, startle her to attack.
  
• She had to take medication regularly, with out her medicine, she will get mood swing.
  
• Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD): Dealing with her daily routine and making everything 'perfect', even putting her victims to die 'in her way'.

Bad blood:

Bad blood is a curse Ona inherited from her mother and her ancestors when they were involved with devil worshiper. The demon blood was mixed in weak form flowing in her blood stream before it grows strong to purge her human's cell. When it triggers, the symptoms include vein showing dark tone, sudden mood swing and paranoid which lead her to attack in blind rage. Cross is categorized as Carrier who shows no symptoms or mutations when carrying the demon blood, however, she will pass the blood into her offspring who may express the stronger demon genetic.

In an alternated route, Ona became the Host and turned into a bat-like hybrid. Due to her conflict during the purge, her skin has two different tone from black to pink pigment. She's grown taller. Her hands and feet stretched and deform into long claws. She has large wings similar to giant bat (flying fox) in general. Her transformation takes week to outgrown her original size and can be painful. Ona can revert to human form by day but turn back when sun sets due her demon gene is more active at night. The demon Ona becomes carnivore, growing appetite over raw meat and sometimes she hunts people who invaded her studio. She can survive a week after eating amount of raw meat until her instinct kicks in again.

• Ona/Cross currently owned a small studio across her apartment for business. She does photojournalism, documentary, and model photography.  
  
• Has 3 signatures cameras: an instant Poraloid, a digital one and a pocket one. She can change her cameras depending on her choice during mission. She also had other camera equipments in her studio.
  
• Her favorite activity is making scrapbooks and albums of people (stranger, friends and neighbors) in her normal life and proxy life. All Cross's photo were kept in her scrapbooks and albums for herself. However, she has this "cleaning ritual" to burn those old unnecessary photos, especially those photos of her victims. 
  
• Cross has soft spot on stuffed animal, dolls and mannequins. In fact, she had a playroom in her studio for little kiddies when taking pictures. Her favorite animal is panda bear.
  
• Most of her kills happen when Bad Blood triggered and her victims mostly are thieves who invaded her studio and not to be missed by others.
  
• She sometimes shows to have British stereotypes like drinking tea/coffee, talking about weather (to herself) and sarcastic expression. 
  
• When she gets startled by someone, she will throw random tools at the people whether they are friends or foes. So be careful.
  
• Beside photography, she does art crafts, dance and tea/coffee brewing (only when she worked at cafe)
